HMS Alliance Fancy breakfast or dinner for 16 on a submarine? - We can do that too! Our Museum is an ideal venue and so much more interesting than typical settings such as a hotel or hall! We have four venues to offer - our largest is the futuristic new John Fieldhouse Building which is shaped like a submarine and overlooks the Gosport marinas and harbour side across to Portsmouth and the Spinnaker Tower. The spacious modern interior is very flexible. Against the unique backdrop of the midget submarine X24, the venue has a capacity of 300 people depending upon the type of event or function.
The Fraser Room The Fraser Room is suitable for smaller functions, meetings and events whilst The Miers Room offers facilities for a small meeting/presentation or training session. Our submarine HMS Alliance is an interesting and unique setting for a small dinner party, a buffet or reception, corporate hospitality, a breakfast event or a product launch. A full catering and bar service is available in all venues, featuring locally brewed ales from Gosport's own Oakleaf Brewing Company.
The John Fieldhouse Building showing X24 As part of your ‘event’ there is the option of a guided tour of our submarine HMS Alliance, the opportunity to see inside the Royal Navy’s first submarine Holland 1 (1901), visit our six Inter-active Zones or browse around our fascinating History Galleries. We have so many options to offer you that our charges can vary greatly, depending on the type of event or function, the duration of your booking and the requirements such as food, drinks and entertainment. We will take great care discussing and planning your event with you. Only then when we fully understand your needs will we give you an accurate cost that will represent excellent value for money!
