Sorry about that...It should have been the Dolphin.
He spent most tours on the Dolphin so any immages of crests or the jolly roger from the Dolphin would be appreciated.
Thanks again for the great site and opportunity to revist important historical information.

My fahter-in-law Ronald Leslie Roberts was in the service from 1944 - 1948 (Hostilties only).
He served on the following Subs:
Duke, Dolphine, Revenge, Pembroke, Elfin?, and a couple of others (I just can't make out the names on the Certificate of Service record. I have a large tatoo of on of the crests and would like to get one of a Jolly Roger or other crest of one of the Subs he was on. Can anyone out there email me a picture or scanned image. I would really appreciate it.

operational, brilliant!!! i've spent the last few months recovering from major heart surgery without the joy of being able to log on to "home".visited the museum three weeks ago with william jnr.(my grandson)thanks to dave sullivan who let him fire up the donkshop horses he will long remember his visit.thanks for a great day.scran was a bit poor though in the cafe. to ian hale ex polto renown. A nice site-makes you feel like you are at the museum. Just finished reading Alastair Mars'Submarines in World War II. With all the press over the years about the U-Boat war, one gets the feeling that our submariners never got the credit due to them for what they did during the war. The work of your museum goes a long way to redress that shortcoming.
