Distinguished and functional, these Centenary clocks will bring an essence of the Submarine life into any home. With 6" marine grade solid brass cases and unique deep royal blue dials with the HM Submarine insignia these are stunningly unusual timepieces. Their luminous numbers and hands are bold and make them easy to read in any circumstances, glowing for up to 6 hours and taking three minutes of exposure to fluorescent and incandescent light or sunlight to recharge. Not surprisingly, the luminosity meets the standards and requirements A.725(18) of the International Maritime Organisation. Available with either quartz or mechanical movement. The latter has a ships bell striking facility, with silence lever and is supplied with a solid brass winding key.
Both clocks are available with a choice of mahogany mounting - Wall Plaque £20 - Base Stand £30 |
