Museum Virtual Tour

The Submarine Museum has recently been extensively developed with a number of new buildings and exhibits. To reflect these changes, our popular online tour is currently being re-written. In the meantime, you may enjoy viewing some of the highlights of the old tour.

The on-line tour of HMS Alliance, is complete. If you visit the Museum you will be able to come aboard HMS Alliance on an evocative tour guided by an ex-submariner.

The John Fieldhouse Building, opened in 2005 is part of a £3.1m major expansion of the Museum. Shaped like a submarine, the exciting modern-design multi-functional building houses the historic X-craft mini-submarine HMSX24 .
