FAQ's

Can we decorate the venue? Only if you don’t mess it up!

Can we make deliveries before the event and collections after the event? Yes, providing you arrange this with us in advance

Can I park at the Museum? Yes, and it’s free. We have 120 parking spaces. At night, the gates to our Museum site will be locked 45 minutes after your event has finished. Guests may leave their cars in the car park overnight but the Museum accepts no responsibility for any vehicles left.

What are the payment terms? The hirer will pay the Museum an advance deposit of 50% of the total cost of hiring the venue, and the cost of any catering and entertainment, and any other charges associated with the event.

The balance of the cost of the venue hire and of all costs connected with the hire of the venue (such as catering and entertainment) must be paid to the Museum within 14 days of the event taking place. This is subject to revisions from BLL

What arrangements can I make regarding taxis? Pick up from outside The John Fieldhouse Building or Fraser, or in car park? Guidance needed
