All round look after being offline for a really long patrol. Really saddened to hear of Ziggy passing the bar. He was my "Sea Daddy" on Otus back in '77. My condolences to all his family. I have some very fond and great memories of being under his wing as a part three.

My grandfather, Stoker 1C James Craig was lost on the Thetis. I have been researching his story as part of my family tree. I visited the museum about 20 years ago and was lucky enough to meet one of the navy engineers who had worked to try to save the men on board. The photos of the Museum show it much chenged from that day.

I just caught the news about Joe Mc Cunnie my old ship mate, thanks to Scouse Park. Sad news may he rest in peace and hold up in a never closing bar.

Every morning and evening I walk from Blackfriars to St James along Victoria Embankment - this week I noticed a bunch of flowers on the Submariners' memorial - I stopped and read it - it was dedicated to Horace Pritchett and was from his great great nephew Keith Clarke - it moved me reading it - on my return journeys I have noticed many people stopping to read the note and picture attached to the flowers - I just thought I'd let you know - it makes me proud to be English!!
